Winemaker's Comments: 2002 Sterling Three Palms Merlot
Deep inky purple in color, the Three Palms Merlot presents aromas of black cherry, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves, with hints of molasses and toasted coconut. Flavors of ripe plum, cherry and hints of blueberry jam, with spicy cinnamon and clove are complimented by intense caramel and cocoa elements. Powerful, with a smoothly elegant tannin structure in a lengthy finish.

Buttery nose with a sudden spice note that disappears quickly. A very complex flavor with layers of plum, raspberry, caramel, oak and vanilla. Slight bitter cocoa finish.

2002 Sterling Three Palms Merlot
I tried a bottle of 2002 Sterling Three Palms Merlot and I just have to say it was one of the best wines i\'ve ever tasted. It had a really great fruity taste that any wine taster would love. It also had a moderate alcohol content wich means you can have a few glasses without getting drunk. I give it a rating of 4 out of 5 because it has a good taste but a stern price.
