Winemaker's Comments: 2003 Ferrari Carano Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This elegant and stylish Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with beautifully focused fruit. Currant, cherry and vanilla flavors with a touch of spice and pepper are warmly displayed. complex tannins, from being aged in American and French oak add depth and richness to this supple wine. A perfect complement to beef, lamb, duck and a variety of aged cheeses.

Definitely the Ferrari of Cab Savs
This Cab Sav does not disappoint. Although it can be pricey at some stores ($33+), we have found it for as low as $19 on sale. This is by far the best Cab Sav I've ever tasted. It smells of blueberries and blackberries. The flavor was lightly smokey and jammy. It had a little bit of a salty flavor, but it was not overpowering and it went really well with the other flavors. The finish is very smooth. The color on this wine is incredibly dark and rich. Definitely a palate pleaser!

Excellent Cab Sav
Weighing in at 14.3%, you'd expect this Cab to knock you backwards, but instead this wine greets you with a sweet and buttery-rich intoxication, followed by a salty - sweet finish. Amazing legs, wonderful color... 10% too salty for my taste.

Not bad for a Cab Sav. Ever had a cement mixer? That\'s what most Cab Savs taste like. This one is more like a cherry cordial filled pancake.... mmm... The smell that opens this special gift is a little strong.

Tastes like butta... very pretty label - which looks like an 80\'s wedding.
