Took a whiff of this one and thought I was in for a starburst-like explosion of fruity flavor! The actual taste was much more mellow, with a hint of grape cool-aid.

Scrubbed My Nose Raw
Upon first sip, I inhaled quite a bit of vinegar. So much that the acetic acid scrubbed my nose raw; but I blame the relationship that I had with this wine starting off on the wrong foot on myself. After giving it some time the Sirah loosened up and introduced a bold, clean flavor. The length was short, but the hints of jam it had when paired with some Saint Anche Brie, was sweet.

2005 Lone Dove Vineyards Inheritance Petite Sirah
I tried a bottle of 2005 Inheritance Petite Sirah from Lone Dove Vineyards and I thought it was a great tasting wine. It had a not to fruity and not to strong taste. It has a moderate alcohol content wich ment you can have a few glasses without getting drunk. I give this a rating of 4 of 5 because it was a great wine and a good price.
