Winemaker's Comments: 2004 Firefly Ridge Central Coast Merlot
Our wines are a symbolic tribute to the mysterious and romantic firefly. The firefly's brilliant luminescence is refelcted in each vintage of Firefly Ridge wines.
Firefly Ridge Merlot is a vibrant, plum-red wine with aromas of raspberry, red currant, and toasted alomonds. An excellent accompaniment for mild cheeses, grilled pork or pasta dishes.

Hmmm... suspect
A disappointing experience overall. I've enjoyed a wide variety of low to mid priced wines, so the relatively low price tag on this one does little to ease the disappointment. Sour, almost to the point of a sour milk taste.

I tried this wine and it had a dissapointing taste. When you open it up it has a strong smell that makes you step back a few feet. When I drank it,it had a vinigery taste that was sour. On a scale of 1 to 5 I give this wine a 1 due to it\'s lack of good taste.
